Mountain Airstrip Farm began with a simple idea: create a place where people can gather, stay awhile, and experience something special.

Owner of The Elms Waterfront Cottages & Lodge, Chandler Atkins, discovered the property while searching for land to bring his newest venture, ATV Ridin’, to life. But once he learned about the farm’s rich history and its connection to Hollywood starlet Veronica Lake, he knew this was a place worth preserving and sharing.

After purchasing the 171-acre property in 2021, Chandler restored the six-bedroom farmhouse, launched ATV Ridin’ in 2023, and began shaping Mountain Airstrip Farm into what it is today: a destination for weddings, weekend getaways, and outdoor adventure. His vision is to continue growing the farm while honoring the stories that came before it — creating a space where history, celebration, and unforgettable experiences meet.
